Over time, media industries have changed a lot.There are now disadvantages and advantages for example you can now shop online and it can be delivered to you right at your doorstep. This can be helpful when your busy doing something at home or are old and cant really travel far then that would be a very good thing. There are also disadvantages say for example a young child is online on the internet there are a lot of bad things that could potentially happen, they could get cyber bullied or a older man could talk to them and they might be endangered.
Years have past and the music Industries have changed significantly. One way it has changed is because of YouTube. People used to get famous of YouTube because they would post a very bad quality video in one place singing. That's what used to happen whereas today to get famous you need money to make your song popular and amazing. The prices are ranged from 200-500 thousand dollars. Now in music videos you can see people in places you would not imagine them to be in because of technology like green screens.
The film Industries have changed also changed as we now have coloured films and not black and white. We also now have effects and can go way further what than what we could have done in the past. Films now can be extremely expensive to make ranging for 150-600 thousand dollars. TV shows are very popular and its more complex as we can watch over thousands of channels and series. There are all bad things like illegal downloads. This means where anyone from the internet can download any films any time in good quality. It is also bad because the producers don't make money for what they are producing. There are things like Now TV or Netflix where people can buy subscriptions and then watch any move/series.
The newspaper industry has changed in many ways. Before in the old times it would only come out in specific times but whereas now you can binge watch or watch it at any time. You would also have to buy in it in the past but now you get it for free. We can also interact with each other by internet and social media. Also in the old days there was a lot of competition whereas now there are none and everyone is equal in different ways. There are also bad things like fake news where people put up fake news to get views and money. There are also very good things like people who go out to where a big thing happen and write it down and record it so that it spreads around and these people are called journalists.

I think that the audience have power since they can share their thoughts and opinion. They can also share photos and messages online whenever they want.
