Mise-En-Scene Stranger Things Analysis

In the 8 mins of Stranger Things I an saw that the setting was set in a basement and there 4 children playing games. This means they are friends and are having fun by playing with each other. The audience would feel that they are enjoying themselves. When they leave the house and its time for them to go you can see that it is night time and once the kids get onto their bikes you can see that the lights flicker. This could suggest that there might be a power cut or that there it is a symbol of something being out there. This might mean that there is danger out there and they might be in trouble. When at the end when one of the children run into a shed and reload a shotgun and have it out ready to shoot aiming at the door. This suggests he is grieve-stricken and scared. When the light flashes and the child disappears it might mean that he went into the light and it sucked him in.
