Camerawork and Editing final blog tasks

This shot is called a medium shot. This is a medium shot because it shows the subject from face to knee and it shows their expressions, mouth wide open suggesting the character is shocked.

This shot is called Establishing Shot, often included at the beginning of the scene. This might suggest that something is going to happen as the man in the car has got out and someone else is looking at him from behind the car.

This shot is called a close-up. The subject's head/face takes up the majority of the frame and that allows their reaction and emotions to create a scene. This might suggest that the man is worried and is looking at someone but we can't see them. This makes us feel curious to know who it is and what they want.

3) Why does the pace of the editing change in this sequence and what is the effect on the audience?

The pace of the editing increases because the movement speed of each character is increasing and therefore they increase the amount of edits they have to make. This builds up the tension to see what is going to happen at the end and whether he is going to get away or not.
